I was born and raised in San Francisco, California. I knew I wanted to become an artist as a kid and was encouraged by my parents, older brothers and sisters to pursue my creativity.

I was born and raised in San Francisco, California. I knew I wanted to become an artist as a kid and was encouraged by my parents, older brothers and sisters to pursue my creativity.
I studied illustration and earned a BFA degree from the Academy of Art University In San Francisco. I’ve freelanced as an illustrator doing technical illustration for Apple and Oracle, game artwork for Electronic Arts and educational illustrations for Simon & Schuester.
My main focus now is drawing animal portraits. If you have a pet you would like me to draw, I’d be honored to do so.

I use many different mediums, such as colored pencil, gouache, acrylics, digital medium , photography and decoupage,. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

I enjoy walking dogs, bicycling, hiking and babysitting goats in my spare. Many of my pieces are directly influenced by these animals or walks in nature. I love recreating landscapes and animals in my work.
